They look at the picture, read the words, smile, and put it back.

That is a lot like reading the sign on a door and never opening it.

An Akashic card is different. It is not there to tell you what will happen. It is there to take you somewhere. Every card is a portal: a small doorway into one part of your Akashic Records.

This idea sounds mystical. It is actually very practical. Once you understand it, the way you read cards changes for good.

Shellie, a reader from Australia, on why the Akashic cards feel like portals.

The core idea: one card, one door

Think of your Akashic Records as a huge house. Every room holds a part of your soul’s story. One room holds your money story. Another holds an old promise you made to your mother. Another holds a fear you carried in from another life.

You cannot walk through the whole house at once. It is too big.

A card solves this problem. It picks one door and opens it.

When you draw a card, you are not getting random advice. You are being shown which room is open right now, today, for you.

That is why the same card can mean something different to two people. The door is the same. The room behind it is personal.

Why one reading shows many soul contracts

Neha Singla describes it in simple words:

> “When I open someone’s Akashic Records, I rarely see just one soul contract. I see many of them, sitting side by side.”

A person can carry a contract with a parent, a contract with money, a contract with their body, and an old vow from another life, all at once. They are layered on top of each other, like pages in a book.

This is why most people feel confused about their life. They are trying to solve five stories as if they were one.

The cards bring order. Each card pulls out one contract and puts it in front of you. You deal with that one. Then you draw again.

Small and clear beats big and confusing. Every time.

Three doors from the Akashic Healing Oracle Deck: Expand Soul Legacy, The Green Goddess and The Wound.

The three layers of every card

Every Akashic card has three layers. Read all three and the card opens. Read only the first and it stays a pretty picture.

Layer 1: The image (what you see)

The picture speaks to the part of you that does not use words. Before you read anything, look at the card for ten seconds. What do you notice first? A colour, a face, a symbol? Write it down. That first impression is the key in the lock.

Layer 2: The message (what it says)

The words on the card name the contract or the lesson. The Wound. Karmic Mirror. Expand Soul Legacy. Each name is a label on the door. It tells you which room you are standing in front of.

Layer 3: The action (what you do)

This is the layer most people skip, and it is the most important one. Each card in the Akashic Healing Oracle Deck carries a small healing action. A sentence to say. A thing to release. A step to take today.

A portal you only look at is a window. A portal you walk through is a door. The action is the walking.

Neha teaching how to read the three layers of a card.

Why the cards feel so accurate

People often say, “This card is exactly my life. How did it know?”

There is no trick here. There are three simple reasons.

The cards were channelled, not designed. Neha received the messages in trance before any artwork was made. The meaning came first.

Your intention chooses the door. When you shuffle with a clear question, you are not drawing at random. You are asking to be shown one room.

The truth was already there. The card does not create the contract. It only names it. That is why it feels like being recognised, not predicted.

A simple way to walk through a portal

You do not need years of training. You need a quiet five minutes and a little honesty. Here is a method you can use tomorrow morning.

Hold the deck and breathe. Three slow breaths. Let your shoulders drop.

Ask one clear question. “What soul contract is active in my life today?” is a perfect start.

Draw one card. Only one. More cards do not mean more truth.

Read the three layers. Image, message, action, in that order.

Write one line. “This card is showing me ___.”

Do the action before the day ends. Even a small version counts.

Do this for seven days. Keep the cards you drew in a list. By day seven you will usually see which contract keeps knocking. That is the one to heal first.

The Akashic Healing Oracle Deck: 85 cards, 85 doors.

The most common mistake

The biggest mistake is drawing card after card until you get one you like.

That is like knocking on every door in the house and running away before any of them open.

If a card makes you uncomfortable, that is usually the right door. Stay with it. Ask, “What is this card asking me to see?” The discomfort is the door starting to move.

What a portal is not

It is not a fixed future. It shows what is active now. Your choices still shape what comes next.

It is not a judgement. A hard card is not a punishment. An Akashic card opens a soul contract and shows how to heal it. You can read more in our guide to all five Akashic oracle decks.

Can a beginner use Akashic cards?

Yes. The cards are made to be a gentle first door into the Akashic Records. Start with one card a day.

What if I keep getting the same card?

That is a strong sign. The same door is knocking because the contract behind it is ready to be healed. Stay with that card for a week.

Do I need to open my Akashic Records before using the cards?

No. The cards work as the opening.
