Most people meet Mahakali through fear. The dark skin, the garland, the tongue, the sword: she looks like the goddess you are warned about, not the one you pray to. But those who work with her closely describe something different. Mahakali is the mother who cuts away what is killing you, even when you are still holding on to it.
For Neha Singla, founder of Magical Healings and an Akashic Records teacher based in Bengaluru, Mahakali became the force behind a whole body of work: a meditation practice, a community, and the Divine Feminine Mahakali Akashic Oracle, an 88-card deck that brings the fierce mother into Akashic healing.

How it began
Neha’s path did not start in a temple. She trained as a computer engineer, worked in IT for years, and later ran her own marketing agency, while studying Indian rituals and healing systems on the side. In 2022 the Akashic guides appeared in her meditation and directed her towards the Records. Mahakali came into the work through a deeply personal awakening, which she talks about openly in the first episode of her Mahakaali series.
After a trip to Ujjain in 2024 she left her other businesses and committed fully to Akashic work. Since then her decks have been channelled in trance states, and the Mahakali oracle was the first deck of its kind from India.
What Mahakali teaches in the Akashic Records
In the Records, Mahakali shows up when a soul needs one of three things.
1. Cutting what has expired
Some relationships, habits and identities have finished their purpose but keep draining your life force. Mahakali’s sword is not violence; it is clarity. She shows you what is complete, so you can stop feeding it.
2. Boundaries without guilt
Many women carry contracts of over-giving: holding everyone, asking for nothing. Mahakali breaks that agreement. She teaches that protecting your energy is sacred work, not selfishness.
3. Facing the shadow
She does not let you look away from the parts of yourself you avoid. Anger, jealousy, grief: in her presence these are not shameful, they are energy waiting to be transformed.

Inside the Divine Feminine Mahakali Akashic Oracle
The deck holds 88 cards, each carrying a message from Mahakali read through the Akashic Records. The cards speak directly. There is no sugar-coating, but there is always a way forward.

Each card offers:
- the message: what Mahakali is showing you about your situation;
- the karmic thread: which contract or cycle is active;
- the action: a clear step to cut, protect or transform.

Who the deck is for
- Women reclaiming their voice and their power.
- Anyone leaving a draining relationship, job or family role.
- Healers and readers who work with the Divine Feminine and the Mahavidyas.
- People who want direct answers rather than gentle encouragement.
A simple Mahakali practice
- Light a diya or candle. Sit facing it with your spine straight.
- Chant Om Kreem Kalikaye Namah softly for a few minutes, or simply sit in silence.
- Ask: “Maa, what in my life is complete, and what am I still feeding?”
- Draw one card from the Mahakali oracle, or simply notice the first image or word that comes.
- Write what you received, and choose one small action to honour it within 24 hours.
